Serious Facts On Microdermabrasion Acne Scar Treatments

I read all of the studies and was seriously excited that I could eventually be rid of my acne. My heart soared and my hopes were high for my first microdermabrasion acne scar treatment. I had read all of the reports that related how great these treatments were and how much better my face would look. I went in for the 1st of 3 crystal microdermabrasion treatments. After I left I felt like a new man. My face looked as good as it ever had and it felt fresh and new. If only it had stayed that way. Sadly for me my microdermabrasion acne scar treatment went south from there.

About 3 days after my microdermabrasion acne scar treatment, I began to notice a little rosiness on my cheek. I thought nothing of it and continued using the same products that they had supplied me. Over the next couple of days the redness started to get worse and worse. I also noticed that several very large acne spots had started to form. I followed their directions and applied the creams and other ointments when I was meant to and in the right dose. None of these slowed down the progress of the acne.

Eventually it came to a head and was by far the largest acne problem I had ever had. I had to in to the doctors office and have the acne removed. After they were done with this it left behind the biggest scar I have had to date. I’ve had many acne issues during the past but nothing was even remotely close to what I went thru after my microdermabrasion acne remedy. Now maybe it was a reaction to the medication they gave me or something else, I do not know, all I do know is that I am never going to put myself through that again.

I don’t mean to put you off totally to microdermabrasion acne scar treatment all together. I’ve known and met many folks that had the treatment and it worked out splendidly for them. In my case though this didn’t occur. I just need to warn you that while in ninety percent of the cases out there the treatments are very effective, in my case microdermabrasion acne scar treatment wasn’t. If you are considering having it done I just wanted to make you aware of my situation so that you could be prepared if something did happen. My biggest mistake going in was not knowing what the possible consequences were. If I did know, I continue to would have done it but at least I would be more prepared and proactive when I realized that something was wrong.
